Lifelong Learning and Wellness Program

As we age, our bodies gradually change. How well we age may depend on genetics, but a healthy lifestyle may affect the way we age. Positive lifestyle choices can also help maintain a healthy brain. Increased physical activity, social interaction, stress reduction, challenging mental activities, and maintaining a sense of purpose can contribute to our overall mental and physical health.
At ACC Senior Services Programs (ACC), we “inspire lifelong learning and wellness.” Through the Lifelong Learning and Wellness Program (LLWP) at ACC, we improve the qualify of life and the quality of aging for our participants by offering a variety of classes and activities that can challenge the brain, encourage creativity, provide social interaction, and enhance well-being, balance, strength, coordination and fitness.
The Lifelong Learning and Wellness Program offers a variety of classes throughout the year to support the broad Sacramento community, and inspire lifelong learning and wellness.
